Cape Coast Slave Dungeon & Depart for Kumasi: Ashanti Kingdom

The Cape Coast Slave Dungeon marks a significant historical site where slaves were held before being shipped to the Americas. Known for the "Door of No Return," it was the last threshold slaves crossed before their harrowing journey across the Atlantic Ocean. Given the emotional and thought-provoking nature of this experience, we will hold a debrief session over lunch to discuss and process the historical atrocities. After lunch, we will depart for Kumasi, the second-largest city in Ghana.
